with emotion
the realisation
that my words
spilled out
can touch

my thoughts
conceived in
pain and joy
and splattered
on this page
can touch

and always
the struggles
of self-worth
make it hard to see
how anything I do
can touch

yet you tell me
they reach you
so my tear-stained
words I let slip now
so that they
can touch

thank you precious friends
in this joyous press of words

    1. Wow, I don’t know how I did that, but I hope it was a good thing not bad ๐Ÿ™‚ I don’t think I’ve been poking around in your mind, I’m sure I would have noticed if I had! I much prefer calling WordPress the press of words – it’s so much more poetic ๐Ÿ˜€
