This week’s photo challenge is “Beginning”. This made me think about when I began to use a DSLR for the first time, so I looked back in my photos. I bought a second hand DSLR (a Canon 400D) from a friend back in May 2012, and was very excited to get using it. The following day I took these photos. I have learnt so much since then! Back then I was not venturing from aperture priority mode, and now I’m full manual pretty much all the time, and I’ve learnt loads about composition, light … all sorts of things.
Anyway here are the photos. First the Clematis which used to be outside my living room window. It went wild and had to be cut back severely which sadly seems to have killed it. It was beautiful, but was trying to pull off my guttering!
This one is of one of the many yellow Welsh Poppies which always pop up in my garden each year. I love it when I see the first buds starting to show. There are many photos of these taken each year.At the beginning of this new year I hope there are many more photos to come 🙂
