Spring Blossoming

This is one of the first flowers on the Blackthorn in my village. There are only a few so far, but soon the hedgerows will be filled with them. The first picture (above) was taken on Saturday, and then the second picture (below) was taken on Sunday of the same flower as it opened further. You may be able to tell that Saturday was sunny but Sunday was cloudy. Anyway, it is lovely to see the spring flowers opening. If you are interested in more signs of spring, take a look at my Country Diary.
