I had a little lunch time walk today to escape the office. There were many bluebells starting to come out, but what really caught my eye were some lovely little Wood-Sorrel flowers. They’re really soft and delicate, and I think this photo has captured that.

Virtually identical flowers are called “Spring Beauty” (Claytonia virginica) where I live. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claytonia_virginica

Yes they do look very similar – I guess you’d need to know what the leaves look like to tell them apart.
