I’ve recently finished a crochet project, so I thought I’d share it here.
This is where it all began on 29th December when I started to crochet the Kamila Fitted Cardigan with my lovely new Scheepjes Stardust yarn that my Mum gave me for Christmas.
After 17 days I’d finished the body. This pattern is great as there are no seams to sew! I started at the neck and then crocheted downwards all round the cardigan.
At 23 days, I’d added buttons and one sleeve. The sleeves are continued on from where I left off in the previous picture – just picking up the stitches around, rather than needing to sew anything together.
Then on Wednesday evening this week, 27 days after I started, I got to the end of the 2nd sleeve! This may be a record for me – a project finished in under a month … and actually finished, rather then me getting distracted by something new!
I’m feeling rather proud and I love the yarn so much!
Next thing I’m starting (although there are several things I should finish first) is a Butterfly Shawl using a different Scheepjes Stardust yarn which has colour changes through it. I’ll tell you more about that when there’s something to see!
If you’re interested in my crochet, or what equipment I used, there are some pages on my blog here.
Well done, it looks great.
