Merry Christmas

It has been a difficult month with some trials and tribulations coming our way. Hopefully we are moving forward to more positive times as 2018 approaches. I hope that the new year brings good things for all my readers, and I hope you have a peaceful and enjoyable time with the festivities that come before.

Please enjoy some festive photos I’ve taken this month…

A couple of weeks back we had some snow and I was happy to catch a traditionally festive image of a Robin in the snow eating some seeds we had put out for it:

I tried to capture images of the snow close up to see individual flakes but it was a bit tricky. Here’s one where you can just about make out some flakes:

Of course, you can’t just take photos of snow – you have to play with it too!

The most fun part of photographing the snow and ice were the icicles! Here are some of my favourites. I think these may be some of my absolute favourites of this year 🙂

Whether you have snow and ice, or cloud and rain, or even sunshine and warmth, enjoy the festive season. If this time is hard for you, then I send some virtual hugs and empathy your way.
