Snow Drifts

The last few blog posts were scheduled last weekend, and they show a sunny, early spring kind of feel. However what has actually happened since I took those photos is the weather taking a more wintry turn. We have had snow and strong winds which have transformed my village with deep snow drifts. It’s really cold but my daughter and I went out for a walk earlier to investigate.

Our steps are somewhere under here!
Strange shapes in this snow drift down by the church wall
“Contour lines” in the drifting snow
Strange shapes formed in the hedge in this snow drift
We thought it looked like a shark riding a wave, so we added some embellishments
This strange snow drift formation looked like a dog to us … so we added a little extra
Interesting lines and curves
Lines and swirls
