Most insects like bees and hoverflies look like little flying dots from a distance. A little roundish splodge. But Damselflies are quite different. The first time you see them flying by it’s a little disconcerting as they are like little straight lines fluttering about! Colourful straight lines too. But of course I like to get close up where you see they’re more than just a straight line, they’re a cute little creature with beautiful eyes and a delicate wings.
