Introducing The Barley Hollow Project

I’m proud to introduce you to The Barley Hollow Project. This is a project created by my daughter for her Welsh Bacc at school. She needs to do 30 hours of community work and she’s decided to work on improving the wildlife area in our village. This is where I have taken a lot of my photos over the last few years, so I’m very pleased she has decided to do this project. It will involve a lot of clearing of brambles, as well as general tidying, and planting. We have been working together on a website and blog to record progress, and we hope to also share information and pictures of the wildlife in the hollow as the project continues.

We’d be very happy to have you come and visit:

  1. Well done…every bit of ‘wild’ land is important. Great volunteering task for anyone to undertake…. and I bet she has learnt a great deal and not just about nature, that will serve her well in the future 🙂
