This week’s Pandemonium parts had bead stitch again, which I love 🙂 So pretty! For some reason I had a mind blank at the end of part 13 and my beads were not quite right, but I fixed them up when I added part 14. Not sure why, but I was putting my hook intoContinue reading “On the Hook, 16/5/20”
This week I have been continuing to work on the Pandemonium CAL. I have been loving it, it’s such a fun, relaxing and beautiful blanket to make 🙂 I’m now all caught up so have to wait for more. Next part (11) is due tomorrow. Here it is at the end of part 9 onContinue reading “On the Hook, 2/5/20”
This week I have been continuing to enjoy the lovely Pandemonium CAL 😀 This is how it looked in last week’s post: By the next day (Sunday) I had finished part 3: After working from home all day, I finished part 4 on Monday evening. I’d been looking forward to getting back to it allContinue reading “On the Hook, 25/4/20”
One lovely part of spring is the return of colour, something that we can miss over the winter. Some flowers are particularly bright and colourful, and can really lift your spirits.
No progress on the Kaleidoscope Blanket CAL this week, but I have finished my lovely rainbow shawl/scarf. I’m really happy with how it looks. Someone at work said it looked joyful, and that is exactly the right description 🙂 Here it is on Monday, when I’d just gone over the half-way point: I finished itContinue reading “On the Hook, 15/2/20”
Not much progress on the Kaleidoscope CAL this week. I’ve have a total of 7 1/2 part 3 triangles now, so I’ve only done 4 1/2 this week. Mainly due to being exhausted and kind of broken from last weekend’s exertions and a very busy week at work. Some evenings I didn’t crochet at all.Continue reading “On the Hook, 8/2/20”
I finished my 36 squares for the Kaleidoscope CAL this week: I got them all done and dusted (including ends) last Sunday. So proud to have got them all done. Of course then it was time to get working on part 2 again. Quite slow progress as I’ve only managed to get 8 of theContinue reading “On the Hook, 1/2/20”
vivid producing powerful feelings or strong, clear images in the mind (of a colour) intensely deep or bright. I was thinking about this word as I went for my walk today, and was looking out for some vivid colours… How about the vivid yellows, pinks and greens in the meadow? Or perhaps the vivid bluesContinue reading “Vivid Nature”
The weather outside is awful today – really windy and pouring with rain, so I’m looking indoors for photo opportunities. I’ve been crocheting again, so I wanted to share this colourful flower circular creation. It’s not finished yet – it will be a square cushion cover at some point. Perhaps I’ll share again when I’mContinue reading “To brighten up a dull day”
