We hadn’t been able to visit Dyfed Shires since December last year, so we have been itching to go and visit for a while now. We were finally able to go and catch up with all the horses on Wednesday. It was so nice to see them all again, and the humans too! 🙂 I’veContinue reading “Back to Dyfed Shires!”
When we first walked past the Red Panda enclosure at the zoo, we could only see a tiny glimpse of one of the animals, but we were patient and returned a little later. To our delight this cute creature decided it would let us see it and take some photos, while it had a leafyContinue reading “Red Panda”
During last weekend’s trip to the zoo, I took lots of photos of the Meerkats. They were busy digging, or keeping watch, while some cuddled up in a ball. Very cute 🙂
Happier news from Dyfed Shires this month – they have a new horse who’s just joined the farm. His name is Caerberllan Flash Harry and he was born in April this year. We met him today and can confirm he’s very cute 🙂 To see more photos and keep track of him over our many futureContinue reading “Flash Harry”
I hadn’t noticed before how Cyclamen flowers emerge on a curled up stem which unfurls a bit like ferns do. While we were at Compton Acres on Saturday I was photographing a lovely patch of Cyclamen and found the curly stems very cute and appealing. I really must get some Cyclamen for my garden!
I made this hat in one evening. Although I then forgot to actually give it to anyone, and their babies have probably outgrown it now! But it is very cute, and was nice to make. Pattern: Baby Hat, from Bavarian Crochet on-the-go by Jenny King. Yarn from my stash.
Yesterday after work, it was sunny and I decided to have a quick potter round the garden. Imagine my joy when I came upon a Weevil! Not everyone gets it so you may not be able to imagine the joy, but let me share with you some of the cuteness of the Weevils… Once youContinue reading “Weevil Joy”
The kittens at my daughter’s riding school are looking very grown up now. They are still quite small, but their faces have matured so now they’re cats really, not kittens at all. This one is Piper, the little girl. She reminds me of a cat I used to have a long time back.
This little bee looks cute curled up on this Celandine. In reality it was busy visiting flowers, but I captured a moment when it was curled round looking like it was having a doze!
This kitten at my daughter’s riding school really wanted a cuddle this morning, and once she had her way, she was very happy about it 🙂 Very cute. Welcome to any readers who’ve joined us from my other blog which is going to be closing down – this will now be the location for NatureContinue reading “Happy Kitten”
