When I was taking photos of frost and droplets on Sunday my daughter spotted a fly. Not sure what it was doing out and about in such cold weather, but it was nice to get my first insect shot of the year.

Yet another photo of droplets from the weekend. This is a stem of Honeysuckle which seems to think its time to grow already. Fresh new leaves all pretty with droplets, like spring … but its not really spring yet is it?
