One lovely part of spring is the return of colour, something that we can miss over the winter. Some flowers are particularly bright and colourful, and can really lift your spirits.

The Flowering Currant over by the village pond is one of the first places to look for unfurling leaves and flower buds, and it won’t be long until there are actual flowers. Looking forward to some nice cheery pink flowers 🙂 Here’s one from last year 🙂
